Our need

Blue Acorn is looking for an Alliances Manager to build a pipeline of new qualified sales opportunities by managing and growing relationships within Blue Acorn’s network of business partners through co-marketing and partner enablement. This role will also develop and manage a program that identifies and qualifies potential new partnerships. We’re looking for 4+ years professional experience, including 1+ years technology sales, partner management, or business development experience. Advanced Salesforce CRM administrative skills and experience in the eCommerce industry is a must.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Establishes practical and personal relationships that result in mutual sharing of leads  
  • Develops plan with measurable, annual goals for each partnership that includes co-marketing strategies and partner enablement
  • Orchestrates co-selling between Blue Acorn sales teams and partner sales teams 
  • Collaborates with marketing to execute joint marketing initiatives
  • Educates internal Blue Acorn sales, marketing and delivery teams on updates to partners’ products and offerings
  • Contributes at least two articles a month to blog covering partner updates and news
  • Develops and manages a program that identifies and qualifies potential new partnerships

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years professional experience, including 1+ years technology sales, partner management, or business development experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Salesforce CRM administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • High-degree of emotional intelligence and relationship-management skills
  • Collaboration skills
