Our need

Reporting to the CMO, the VP of Sales is accountable for closing new business opportunities and scaling the sales division of Blue Acorn. Leading the Sales team, the VP of Sales will design and execute a comprehensive strategy to develop strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote revenue growth and client satisfaction for the organization.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Create a sales process that aligns with the strategic direction of the company with a focus on recurring revenue
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing quarterly sales quotas by deal / platform type
  • Grow sales volume, service mix, and pricing by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Present award winning proposals integrating solutions with subsidiary companies
  • Lead sales team to exceed expected sales volume

Qualifications and skills

  • 10+ years of eCommerce experience
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • A demonstrated ability and passion to lead, mentor, motivate team members to get results while empowering the team to be their best selves
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of major revenue growth and retention through a consultative and solutions focused sales approach
