Our need

We’re looking for a passionate, ambitious person with strong experience in selling services and technology in the eCommerce space. Among the many skills required is the ability to consult. Throughout the sales process, you’ll investigate the prospects' challenges, flesh out the implications of problems that are unique to their business, and use the knowledge you gain to create personalized presentations, proposals and solutions that demonstrate a strong understanding of the client’s business. 

Responsibilities and duties

  • Become the go-to resource for any eCommerce questions, ideas, or industry talk
  • Communicate with potential clients frequently
  • Create and present proposals for opportunities
  • Closing deals and only accept losses outside of our control
  • Maintain the sales pipeline with accurate depiction on types of opportunities, close probabilities, and close dates for proper resource planning by our operations team
  • Present status updates and projections on the sales pipeline
  • Work with a Solutions Engineer to quote prices, scope the opportunity, and deliver proposals
  • Work with Business Development to make sure the proper leads are flowing in
  • Work with Marketing on content creation and to make sure sales collateral meets client requirements
  • Work with VP of Sales to make sure standards and goals are being met
  • Maintain a CRM with a rich profile of merchant data on SalesForce CRM
  • Intuit customer needs and behavior
  • Deliver consistently good results
  • Frequent travel to meet sales opportunities and present solutions

Qualifications and skills                                                                    

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent presentation stills
  • 4+ years experience in a sales or business development role with experience answering sales inquiries
  • MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Google Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
